I had a blowout late Fri night. Was able to get to Dobbs and leave car on lot overnight. Nathan called me early Sat morning- said tire was ruined. He ended up selling me 4 new ones. After thought--did I need them? (A woman ALWAYS has thoughts about whether she is getting ripped off with auto repairs, etc.). I googled my particular situation and discovered my tires were WAY OVER due to be replaced. So I guess Dobbs was honest. Nathan was very nice and even came to pick me up at my house to get my car. So, I have no negative comments about Dobbs on this transaction. They had the new tires and alignment done by about 10:30 that morning and I was able to be on my way. I drive a BMW Z4 and if the tires are old, which they were, I could have really gotten hurt if I would have had the blow out on the interstate instead of a side street. I guess I was lucky.
When I awoke to low pressure in a tire, the day was not off to a great start. But, I lucked out...not only did I get help from a great AAA resource; but, the Dobbs team got my car in and out within a couple of hours...repaired the nail hole AND did an oil change...AND called and picked me up from my office to get my car! Great job...turned my day around!
I go out of my way to go to this Dobb's location because I trust them to do a good job and not take advantage of the fact that I am a woman. I got my oil changed, my tires rotated, my anti-freeze checked and my car inspected. They managed to fit me into my time frame even though I didn't have an appointment. (I tried to make one earlier in the week and was told I wouldn't need one and that they would have no trouble fitting me in...NOT what I was told at first. BUT, they finished on time for me.)
Everyone was pleasant and efficient.
I could have got a little better discount on the service of brake fluid and transmission.I like this shop very much. people are very friendly here.
My daughter recently brought her car in for an oil change. When she called to inquire about availability she was very rudely treated. The manager fixed the situation but only after a call.
Thanks Dobbs! I was one of those "I'm headed out of town for the holidays and need work done on my car before I can travel." It just a a state vehicle inspection but getting in done quickly really helped my family travel with minds at ease (with current license plates!). Nothing like trying to explain expired out-of-state plates to police in another state. Merry Christmas and thank you. Tom Hart
Co-worker noticed I had a flat one morning at work. Immediately took my car to Dobbs which quickly turned around my car (< 1hr) and put the donut on after the flat was determined to be a side wall gash and I had to order new rear tires. When I got my car back in for the new tires, the center cap on a wheel was broken when it was removed. Dobbs had a replacement center cap ready for me a few days later. Thanks for taking care of me.
