New Tire Troubles
I returned to Hogan & Sons after a new car hiatus and clerks were great. Showed me all their deals, gave me a quote, and offered a competitor's price match guarantee. Feeling good, I setup an appointment just before I needed to take my car out of town. Upon returning, my quote was not in the computer, nor was my reservation. They setup a new quote and wouldn't honor the price match due to it would undercut their expense to much. They said this competitor made their money on shipping and don't factor that into their costs. After figuring all the costs and the competitor was still better by $50, which they didn't offer me. Due to my time constraints, I took the loss and gave H&S my car saying I'd be done withing the next 3 hours. 6 hours later I took my car before they did the alignment check, since I was annoyed and needed to get on the road after work. Delays happen and are unavoidable, but not honoring the price match guarantee was most disappointing. Don't offer what you can't honor.
