Recent Battery Replacement

I recently appeared to replace a battery. I was told over the phone that my battery was purchased in 2014 so it would be under warranty. However, when i appeared i was told that my original purchase date was 2011, it was replaced under warranty in 2014, so the warranty only applies to the 2011 date and thus it is out of warranty. while that may be your policy regarding the warranty, i find it unreasonable that you have put two batteries in my car that failed before their warranty was up. At no point did anybody apologize for this or consider any remedy for this issue. If i did not have urgent stuff to do that day, i would have taken my car elsewhere. I will probably not return to dobbs now, as I do not believe your warranty advertisements.

Poor Service

I have a 96 infinity (118k) that has been in our family since day 1 & serviced by AAA approved shop that is my parents friends who is the only mechanic to work on this car after warranty. Just was told brakes where good along with tires but had a bent rim. Ordered new factory rim & asked Dobbs to install. Arrived @ 9am & was told ready around 1:30pm. few techs talking and few bays open but I understand. Young female enters to replace tire and they immediately work on her auto due to she wanted by noon. The issue is when I left for approx. an hour they called advising my back brakes were low & needed replacing immediately. I rushed back but car was put together after I denied repair. I asked about brakes and sales rep. looks at my ticket and says they are 3/16 and need replacing at 1/16. I clarified which tire they replaced due to it was the front passenger & confused why back wheels where removed. Well now my back wheels are squeaking bad. Now I loose because I don't trust them to fix

I unfortunately waited to the last minute to get my state inspection completed. After calling the Dobbs by my house (they were booked solid). I thought I would try the Brentwood location. To my surprise, not only did they get me in but the were able to do an oil change and fix a few issues my car was having. I was able to register for my tags before they expired, and the staff at this location were very friendly and helpful. This is why I will continue to go to Dobbs!

Dobbs Review

Had an emergency situation on a Sunday and had to get a passenger front tire replaced. The crew at Dobbs did a great job of getting it done and me getting out of there in a timely manner. Thank you!

Oil Change and Rotate Tires

I dropped off my car at 9:am on Sunday and thought I would have to wait several hours. I was informed it would be ready within 90 minutes so I walked around the area shops. I was notified an hour later my car was ready. I always get great service at the Brentwood Promenade location.

Close at 8pm?

Came in at 7:50 after work to get a basic tire repair (had tire off car and ready to go) and they refused to serve me because they said it would take them 45 minutes to repair it. Poor Customer service. Drove 20 minutes to (40 minute round trip) because all other locations were closed. Will never go to this location again.

There is always something

I have been bringing my car to Dobbs since 2002. Now that it is older, I bring it in for an oil change. And I always get a phone call with a recommendation that will cost $500 or more. Really? Every time?
