Great Customer service

On my way to work my check engine light came on. I stopped at the nearest Dobbs location. They needed to keep my vehicle and consequently they gave me a ride to work. They kept in touch with me throughout the day to keep me updated. I work in West county and live in Illinois. The crew hustled to get the parts so I could pick up my car the same day and not have to figure out how to get back there the next day. Spectacular job. Thank you gentlemen.

Oil change -Alignment Gone Bad

The repair work was good but the communication poor and misleading. The Dobbs rep misquoted the price of oil change and cost of an alignment for my Silverado. The oil change was quoted as 64.95 with a $15 coupon but no mention of an additional charge for 6 quarts. The Alignment was quoted as 64.95 with a $25 coupon however it was charged as $64.95 after a $25 coupon. Dobbs offered to refund the extra quart of oil with the caveat that this onetime offer only. On the alignment Dobbs reluctantly offered to split the difference on the $25 coupon but when the bill was presented it only reflected $10 refund . When I pointed out that half of $25 is $12.50 they again reluctantly refunded the full $12.50While I was eventually satisfied, it came at a cost of unnecessary haggling on my part and the Dobbs rep made me feel as though I was unreasonable. Not a feeling a customer wants to leave with. Dobbs does not recognize the poor and misleading communication that was provided.

Great job

I went to this location because of the superior customer service Bart, the manager, provides. This is not the most convenient one for me but whos managing the locations makes a big difference. Bart has moved around a few times and we usually try to go to his location. Ive had mixed results staying at the shop thats most convenient for me.

2014 Honda CR-V Needed 4 Tires

I called Dobbs and I asked for C.J. Nettles, Service Manager. I told him why I really needed service that day. He said to bring the car as soon as I could come. He answered all my questions and recommended what tires would be best and cost effective. He gave me an estimate cost. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Dobbs checked other parts as a routine service, some at no additional cost. I was very pleased with the service. I also have gone to that location for service on my 2014 Honda Accord for 4 tires and other items.
