Funny Noises
The Good: Dobbs accurately diagnosed my funny sounds while turning as the need to replace the front brakes. The Bad: they wanted to charge me about $340 for front brakes and rotors. The rotors were fine and the front brakes are <$40 on my car. Im not that mechanical and dont own a great jack or air tools and I can do front brakes in an hour. I gave them my $30 diagnostic fee-which is fair and went on my way. The Ugly: Ive had the tires off many times in the 10 years Ive owned the car and have never had any issues with the lugnuts. I did the brakes a few days after the diagnostic and ended up snapping two lugnut studs off the front passenger side to get the tire off. Overall: this Dobbs has proven to me to be an honest shop time and time again so I will keep going back for things I cant fix but the lugnuts irritated me as it was just one more thing to mess with. Maybe it wasnt them but like I said, Ive never had issues with them before and Ive had it for a decade.
