Taken Again

Came in to get right front CV joint replaced. Wound up paying the Dobbs alignment tax also. Picked up car to discover ABS and TCS lights on. Assistant manager then said "oh yeah, those were on when we pulled it in this morning". They certainly weren't on when I dropped it off the day before and I was pretty incredulous that nobody even bothered to mention this. Assistant manager offer to comp the diagnostic. I have not taken them up on this offer because it's way too easy for them to cover their tracks. Damaging or failing to reconnect the ABS sensor, ring or wire is very easy to do when replacing a CV joint. Way too easy for them to say one of the rear sensors is out and then actually fix the front right one. I've spent more than $2,000 at Dobbs in 2018 for cars that weren't fixed when I got them back. Other than possibly tires and oil changes, my business has been lost forever. Fast is the only thing you have over other local garages, but it doesn't matter if you don't fix it.

Dobbs Tire & Auto - High Ridge

Totally disappointed with my visit on 11/14/18. Standard oil change and tire rotation took 2 hours!!! They apparently checked my alignment for free after they rotated my tires (that I have done regularly) and notified me that my car is out of alignment now. Never had an issue with the wheel pulling to the left before I went to Dobbs and now my car pulls hard to the left. I will go somewhere else to have an alignment.
