ask for weights on back side of rims to make for a better appearance. Weights were stacked high like legos and rubbed front rotors. Removed and added regular weights. Left back as is therefore not able to rotate. Wanted to remove and change to like front for rotations and couldn't without extra charge. Don't understand that since warranty offers free rotation and balancing for life of tires. Biggest thing that bothers me is tech backed out, heard grinding that was there after mounting tires that wasn't there when he pulled in. He would let me get in traffic and put myself and others in possible harms way. Facebook here we come. I work for United Rentals and always said go to Dobbs. NOT ANYMORE

Set realistic expectations

I called in for just an emissions inspection, the guy on the phone told me they were busy, he could get me in right away. I told him Id be ther in 15 min, which I did. When I got there, I was told it would now be about an hour, Since I addyan oil change. The long and short of this comment, is that is was over 2 hrs, before my car was finished. I guess if youre gouto quote a completion time, set real expectations with your customers, not something that just gets people in your door.

My wife brought the car in for an oil change. We had a coupon at home for 19.00$ from Mienikes. Dobbs charged over 40 dollars. She asked if there were any deals going on. She didnt get any deals. Because shes a women???

Honda Accord A/C Repair

The repair took longer than expected as there was a leak in the A/C system that was difficult to diagnose. However the Dobbs technician kept me informed throughout the process.

Chevy Malibu - low coolant

I had 3 rounds of service over the last month or so. (over $2000 total) First fixed oil leak, then water pump, then brought it back because check engine light and Low Coolant light on. Picked up my car and low coolant light still on. Didnt leave the parking lot. Went a little nuts, talked to the new store manager. He said to bring it back when available and he will make it right (well see)

Shake Down

My wife went in for safety and emissions testing and the car was failed for windshield wipers so after the shake down price of $21 each she left. Later that day when a hard rain rolled into town, the new wipers malfunctioned on the the road (with five kids in the car) rendering the passenger wiper useless. So thanks for the ironically unsafe episode and squeezing money out of a hard-working family.
