Information on rear brakes and rotors needed replaced

Pleased that I could book an appointment; although, I don't think it was required. Clean, friendly atmosphere, well lit waiting area, knowledgeable and caring staff. Reasonably priced too. Have already recommended.

Tires and inspection

Although the tires installed and at a fair price I would have to say I was very very displeased with the courtesy inspection whereas I wanted to see what would or would not pass inspection. Although I would have paid for a regular state inspection because the vehicle needed it. Anyways they claimed that the ball joints where bad, brake pads where paper thin, rotors where grooved, power steering pump leaking, and bad rack and pinion. Upon check and replacement I had well over an inch of pad left, rotors where plenty thick with no groves, ball joints where practically new with no play it deterioration and verified by dealership. Power steering pump did not have a leak and rack n pinion was not leaking. I feel that the mechanics here are trying to make a buck at a dishonest level. Be careful and seek second opinion. If in doubt shop around.

Oil Change / 70,000 service

I went in for an oil change on 2/3/2016 around 5PM. The service technician forgot to install a gasket in the oil filter, this resulted in my leaking all the oil out of my 2013 jetta, and leaving approx. 2-3 quarts of oil on my driveway. I returned, to the store, they fixed the problem, and gave me a bag of absorbent, this removed some of the oil from the driveway, but left it stained. I am not impressed with the service and will not be returning for any further repairs. 165$ for an oil change.

Smooth, no-fuss job

Came in at right time: no line. Got educated on shaking at high speed means need tires balanced, which was done without fuss. Charge higher than I remember (from > 10 yrs ago), but no complaint - they say N/C to bring back during life of the tire to rebalance as needed.Also told me that now-4-year-old tires at risk of dry rot, and should replace within 3-4 months from their inspection.

The work on the car seems well done, however, the customer service was poor. There was a major breakdown of communication on their end which creates mistrust. If I experience one more bad visit I will not continue to utilize them
