Nice Find

I just discovered that my daughter's car, not driven much in 3 months, needed a tire replaced and this was Sat. of Thanksgiving weekend. After visiting Midas which did not have a tire in stock, Hogans did, had 2 of them (to replace both front tires that were worn and one was flat); plus was able to give me a ride home, was open till 6pm on Sat. and the following Sun. Service seemed thorough, polite, helpful and the place was super convenient.

Left Front Wheel

Had a left front vibration. Other Hogan & Sons did other work such as struts / shock, tie rods & alignment, but did not catch the LF wheel was bent. Chantilly location solved the problem

Fast and efficient

Trouble shooting problem

They were great on the customer service side, but what i asked them to check they did not. My front right still shakes and they said it was ok but ill figure it out, believe its the stabilizer bar. No complaints though just would have liked my 35$ to have been worth it.

Tire Rack

Appointment scheduled for noon. Vehicle promised at 2, then 3. Vehicle not ready until 5. This was a wait. Shop is seriously undermanned.

Oil Change

I've been taking my care here since last year and have always been extremely satisfied with the service. I took it in 11/09/17 for an oil change and asked if I could drop it off because I was on my way to work. The gentleman helping me said "Ok" and that was it. I received a call letting my know my vehicle was ready and there was a tear in the serpentine belt that needs to be replaced. I asked for an estimate to see if I could afford to do it at the same time. The same gentleman told me "I have the estimate, we can go over it when you come in." Not the answer I wanted to hear, but I got him to give me the estimate over the phone. $35 for the part, and $150 for labor because it would take over an hour. I chose to get it done at my local mechanic the next day. Once I picked up my vehicle and turned the car on the oil change light was still on. I figured once I drive it a little it would go off. The next day the light was still on even though my receipt states "Reset Oil Light".

After having a lengthy period of time pass (5 hours), I was called and informed my car was done but it had failed the safety inspection because I had by passed the neutral safety switch. This is not required for Virginia inspection. I discussed this with 3 different people but they refused to pass the car. I am very disappointed in this refusal and feel as if I am being forced fix something that is not required and I simply can not afford to pay to get it fixed so I am stuck and am not sure how to proceed.

Great customer service

The guys in the front were very nice and polite. Went very early in the morning and was in and out after 30 minutes.
