Fraud or incompentence?

I brought my car in for a safety inspection and was told I needed $12XX worth of repairs to the front and rear suspension because things were worn. Little did they know the parts had just been replaced due to an accident on the front and I had just inspected all of the suspension when I replaced the brakes at all 4 corners. It was amazing how tight and like new my suspension was after 165000 highway miles. I have bought many thousands of dollars of tires from this location without issue prior to this. I dont know if Dobbs was trying to defraud me or if they were just plain incompetent but I will never return and be happy to tell everyone I know about my experience.

Came in with a tire that has a slow leak. They found a small piece of a broken nail and patched it. The next morning the tire was leaking again. Brought it back the day after that, and they could not find out why it would not hold air. I requested a refund.

They will milk you $$$

I had always heard bad things about Dobbs but this time I went to check them out due to time and convenience. I can honestly say the stories were right and I will not be going back. I went in to get an inspection and it failed which I figured it would but needed to find out what needed to be done to correct it. After they told me it failed I asked what needs to be done, replaced to get it all fixed up. They told me, which from the picture I believe it was the store manager, they do not know and the ONLY way they can determine what is wrong is a full diagnostic. Another $140 for the diagnostics and not even the fix. I had asked that the error code their machine came back with on the paper they gave me didnt tell them. He looked at me and said no, only way to know is running the full diagnostics. I felt like I was being had so I left. I was right and it did tell another place what it was and is fixed now! Either crooked or ignorant I will not be going back! Stay away from this place.

All people/managers helpful and VERY pleasant.Needed oil change but returned same afternoon to purchase tires. My tire condition was shown to me. As Hillary would say, my tires were in 'deplorable' condition.Good experience!
