The staff at Dobbs always works me in for an appointment even when they're busy. I appreciate that and I get good service.

Excellent service and timely work completion

Greasy rim

Dobbs was able to get me a tire the next day since I was wanting to match tires. I greatly appreciate them doing that. My only complaint this time, is that they need to do a little better job on protecting the rim when replacing a tire. There are minor scuff marks throughout the rim after this visit. It does not seem to be normal since none of the other rims are like that, and this is the first time Dobbs has worked on any tires for this vehicle. Bigger complaint - when spending $300 on a tire/service, you would think they would at least remember to clean the grease off the rim after finished. There was more than enough time after finishing the job that this issue could have been addressed.

For the most part I didn't really understand what was done. I came in for an oil change, and left paying over $400.00 for something under the car, in addition to, the oil change. But, I guess it was something I really needed, I'm guessing they did a good job.

Extemely Satisfied

Ron did a fantastic job seeing to the repair, it took only a matter of a couple hours and he phoned me saying the car was ready for pick up. The time and cost were beyond reasonable, I could not have asked for more.. Dobb's has always done a great job and I have worked with Ron many times and he is a very upstanding and honest man to work with, I truly appreciate the advise and help he has given me though the years.

Auto maintenance

I was very happy with the service I received. I received prompt service and the problem was taken care of. Everyone is very friendly and helpful at the Cahokia Auto center.

Need better time estimates

While the service was good as usual, they lack time estimates. When you tell a customer an hour to an hour and a half even that morning when they call to ask, it should NOT take 3 hours instead.

Poor customer service

For thirty dollars , brakes should have had more than custody visual review. If repair is over Sven hundred dollars, Imshould be entitled to a written estimate. Flat like Imwas being intimidated and bullied by the young man. I have been a long time customer with two cars,, a disabled vet on a fixed income. I am very disappointed and angry.

Upset Customer

This Dobbs Auto Center in Cahokia took advantage of older signal women for taking a 40,000 mile truck for oil change and tire rotations for repair and end up with a repair bill over $1,234.09. They never told the woman the price of the repair. Do not trust the repair shop unless it is up front in writing of all repairs. The repair ticket says rear shock leaking. They replace the front strut as well, but the repair was to be the rear only. The woman was 82 years old and was ripped off over $1,200.00 to fix the truck. Do not trust this Cahokia Store for any repairs at Dobb's. 2 rear shocks show the price of $810.16. The 2 front struts are $179.64. Total upset of taking advantage of older people like this person got ripped off by company padding their own pockets for repairs not needed. I am the son of the person and live out of town where the person lives. This is really bad business to pad their pockets and take advantage of old people as well.
