Horrible Experience

My car died on Tuesday and I took it to the Dobbs in O'fallon to get a new alternator. Ends up that it was a faulty alternator, so Friday on the way home from work my car died again. I take it the Dobbs in Ballwin, by my house, and was treated HORRIBLY by the customer service guy Charlie. I walk in and explain what happened to my car and he said "what do you want me to do about it?" Well Charlie, I would like you to fix it. Since it's under warranty, and it's Dobbs mistake that it happened. He gave me attitude and was incredibly rude. When I came to pick up my car Saturday afternoon he was sarcastic and continued to give me attitude. As I was leaving he said "Byeeeeeee!" Reporting him and this Dobbs to corporate, still in shock at how they treated me.

Best Customer Service Ever

Charlie Dang is the man. He sets the bar for sales and customer service across every other retail experience I have had anywhere. Not only did he answer all my questions expertly, he also reminded me of other services that needed to be considered, successfully uphold me on a couple of services, and repeatedly called me until he could get me on the phone to discuss a problem the techs had found. After I walked out to leave, he ran out to the parking lot to shake my hand again and to bring me a couple for my next oil change. At the beginning of the day when my wife asked me why I wasn't going to the Dobb's location on Sulfer Springs, my answer that the guys at the Dobb's on Manchester knew me and always took care of me. That day Charlie went above and beyond. I would follow him to other Dobb's locations solely on the trust that he earned from me that day.Charlie's positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to go the extra mile should be commended.
