The service is excellent. The managers and service personnel provide professional and courteous service. Mel and the other service advisors have always taken the time to review the work to be performed and clearly communicate the activities within the shop. I have been a customer of theirs for over 7 years and I would not trust anyone else with repairs or major service on any of my vehicles.

Simple Oil Change
Quick service at a fair price for a simple oil change. Add tire rotation for $10 is a bargain when that's needed. I could do without so much up-selling but I just politely decline or say next time and we're good.Up-selling: I don't need new tires every time I come in. I don't need every fluid flushed every time I come in. The windshield wipers are fine. Etc.

Great service, as usual, for routine items but also had to have 2 trunk lid strut supports replaced, which were done fine. Only anecdotal issue is Rob "BoneCrusher" Pittman's handshake, which nearly broke bones in my hand - WTF!!! Must've thought my hand was a Giant Pickle Jar "Too Tight" Lid - YOWZA!!!

Bare Minimum Effort
We've been in the neighborhood for over 10 years, and have usually enjoyed the convenience of Hogan & Sons. Over the past few years though - and more recently the past year - we've noticed a decline in what we would deem excellent service and an increase in prices. This latest visit was for a simple emissions and safety inspection. When called regarding a couple of issues found during the inspection we asked them to check the hub bolt to make sure it was tight - on a tire that would have been pulled to check the brakes anyways. They checked the lug nuts - not sure how hub bolt and lug nuts sound the same but apparently they do. When asked why they didn't check the hub bolt they said they could for an extra $62 fee OR charge $550 for a part that barely costs $150.
