Ripped Off

My car's VSC light and engine light turned on so I took my car for a check. I was recommended a tune up and coil replacement. I was naive to approve the repair but called shortly after to decline the service because I had done a tune up for my car 2 months before. I picked up the car without having the service completed but I was still charged for the tune up. I replaced the coil myself and the car went back to normal and I was charged for a service the car didn't need and wasn't provided. I spent 5K last year at this shop and expect the courtesy to have a refund for this unprofessional business practice.

Hogan & Sons over in Falls Church is definitely the place to go for all of your mechanical and tire needs. The staff is highly knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly to work with. They keep their shop organized and clean, which was an indication of their quality work. The staff is very professional and really great to get along with. Their prices are in line, if not a little below the market rates for their services. I have only been their twice, but will continue to return.

From beginning to end, the service was professional, honest and courteous. They ordered my tire and had it ready as agreed. I had to wait for installation but the environment was comfortable and pleasant. It probably cost a little more than a discount place, but when they saw that I didn't need an alignment they let me know and took $100.00 off the total cost.

I'm a returning customer because these folks do it right the first time! They are well informed and explain any and all questions you may have. The work and service is outstanding.

Diagnostic on Brake Light

We set up a diagnostic on a permanent brake light. It was close to what we expected. We have a follow up to correct the problem next Monday, which will determine the ultimate outcome.

Oil Change Review

1. Appointment at 5, they did not take my car till 5.40 PM, then got my car returned at 7.40.2. Wheel Rotation was requested but not done initially then need to remind them to get it done 3. Never get feedback on status of Fluid`s Check, Battery Check.

Shop Tire

My car has less than 7,000 miles on it and I got a nail in one of the tires that could not be fixed. I was not ready to change brand or my other tires since they were so new. I could not find the tire anywhere. Even though Hogan & Sons did not have my tire in stock and it was not listed in the vendors guide they use, Ben took the time to look around for me. I received a call back within 5 minutes letting me know he found my tire and could have it to me next day. Customer service was outstanding thru the whole process.
