Electronics Trouble Shooting

In trying to jump start my 1996 4-Runner, which had been sitting without use for about 6-months, I accidentally shorted out the system and there was no electrical power. After having the car towed to Hartje, they were able to diagnose and promptly fix the problem.

Not coming back

Once again I've had issue work Hartje. I stopped taking vehicles there for repair after issues. Was still using them for oil change and tires. Last oil change, I called in and set an appointment. Said there was a headlight out that I'd like changed. Knew I had a bad wiper blade but didn't mention it, as they should find that on an inspection. Was going to have tires put on but decided to wait. Didn't get a call that it was done. Picked the vehicle up. Headlight not changed, wiper blade not mentioned. Drove home and noticed the center cap hub on one tire missing. Called 3 times about it. Was told those caps were all loose and junk. All the other 3 were tight. Was asked to stop by when I could. Tom looked at it and said those are junk and get loose. Didn't check the others. They were still tight. Used to be a decent shop. Now it's just expensive. I try to shop local. I still will. Just somewhere else.Its too bad. I always enjoyed chatting with Connie.
