One of my tires needed air almost every day. My chrome wheels have (apparently) corroded and air is leaking out from around the rim. The guys at your store cleaned it up with a grinder, re-mounted and re-balanced the tire and so far so good. It is great not to have toad air on a daily basis...thanks Dobbs.
Put my car in for state required safety & emissions inspection. Dobbs did it on a Saturday & didnt try to add on any unecessary repairs.
I took my Prism in for the inspections, and some items were found. Everything was explained to me, prior to any work being done. When the work was completed, there was a very strong gas smell, I returned with the car and dropped it off in the evening, close to closing time, and was told they could deal with the problem first thing the following morning. I needed the car by 11:00 AM on that day and they jumped on the work and had it fixed in time for me to be able to use the car. This unit always has done very good work for me and I will continue to go there for all my auto needs.
I recently purchased two tires from this location and have had constant issues with the tire pressure light on my dash board. The tire pressure light was not on at the time I brought the car into this location. I returned to the location to learn my tire pressure sensor on rear driver side had been removed. Brought car in over the weekend and they put a tire sensor back on tire, but my tire pressure light has not gone off after 3 days. When I returned with my issue, I was made to feel as if I did something wrong, when in fact the only thing I did wrong was spend my hard earned money with this business. My customer experience has not been pleasent!! I will NOT be returning to spend my money on anymore services nor will I refer any family or friends to DOBBS. My fiance'(Jamie Brady) also recently had a terrible experience with another DOBBS location(Downtown St. Louis) as well. Neither of us will ever return to this business as we have not had pleasent experiences thus year.
The check tire light on my wifes 2015 Ford Escape went on and she went to Dobbs at 5841 Chippewa, and they aired up all her tires, and told her that even thought the light was out, it could be a slow leak in one of her tires. She can home from work that night and the light was back on. I call Dobbs and asked if I could drop off the car in the morning, as I go to the gym right across the street. They said ok, so the next morning I went in a dropped it around 6:30 with a requested finish time of 7:45. As I was walking out of the gym at 7:35, they called and said my car was ready. It had a nail in one of the tires which they fixed, and checked all the other tires. I picked up the car and went on my way. This Dobbs unit has always taken good care of me as I have been going there for about 10, years with 4 different cars. I have to ask my self, "why go anywhere else?" so I don't, and probably never will.
No problem what so ever.
