They tried to find the draw on the battery which is now termed intermittent. They told me that if it happens again on a day that I work to get it started and bring it to the shop right away and they would check it again.

We have had ongoing problems with our 1995 Olds 88 concerning the radiator leaking . Recently we had the front brakes & rotors installed, plus 2 new tires installed at Schierl. As soon as my wife drove it out of the Schierl parking lot in Medford, she noticed a loud sound. We took the Olds to a local dealership in Owen, and the technician there found not only a hole in the muffler, but also a radiator leak where Schierl installed a heater unit this past winter. We have removed the heater unit as our local technician said it was the problem with the leakage.My concern is that your technicians did not discover either the hole in the muffler or the leak. I entrust you to take care of my vehicles, as I am certainly no mechanic. When I have to take it elsewhere to get a vehicle properly diagnosed, it does not leave me with a lot of confidence with your crew.Your technician gave the excuse to Charlie that he could not see the hole in the muffler. Well, our local technician did!?My wife and I have used Schierl now for 15 years, and, for the most part, we have had good service. That is why we have kept coming back to you. We hope that when we bring in a vehicle, ALL problems will be addressed, and not those pertinent to the current job request.Sincerely, Russell J. Hosler, Jr.

A dirty or loose gas cap appeared to be the problem. Shierl thought we should start with that before researching further. Definitely a cost benefit for us and the problem is fixed.
