Overpriced, questionable serv

I was in recently to Matthew's Tire in Menasha, located on HWY 47. I've been there before & in the past they treated me right. In the past I got great, prompt, service w/fair pricing. This last visit I took in my wife's car, 2002 Camry, to have 2 tires put on. No big deal, tires I got were good & the price was fair. What I did have a problem with was them intimidating my wife saying "repair is dire" to replace an inner tie rod end because they couldn't "check" the alignment as it was. I got there and asked to see the part, it wasn't as bad as they made it sound to my wife. Also they charged me $166 for the (Moog) part! Sourcing local parts shops I found the part available for between $20-70. I should get a parts choice. I don't have a problem paying markup, but when you gauge me, I take offense. I've got 2 other cars that aren't going to Matthew's. BTW - no problem paying for labor, because labor is labor and menu pricing for align is what it is. I don't like being lied to.

Last visit for tire

Went fast and smooth to fix tire. Asked if I needed new wiper blades, they said no not yet. Most would have said "sure, you need'm". I tell my friends and neighbors that's why I go, if you need a repair you get info and context of how bad do you need it. And the Nitrogen in tires works, both cars.

Oil Change Service

Everything went as expected. Staff is very personable and easy to work with.

Tire pressure

I received the best service from this location. They were able to get me in right away and fix the problem with my tire. Jason was exceptionally helpful.

Fabulous service! I mistakenly scheduled my appointment at a different location but they still got me in to check my brakes. They needed work & the job was completed right then.

Except for the fact that you forgot to put in the serpentine belt and had to come to our house to pick our car up again to install it, everything went well.

Great Service

I actually ordered my tires on line from "Good Year " website but found out they would have been cheaper right from "Mathew Tire" With Craig's help, I was able to get them "credited back " and buy directly from Mathews so I would also have the road hazard insurance plus free rotation for the life of the tires and it still was CHEAPER than buying online They got them mounted, checked the front end alignment and adjusted it and I was still done in a reasonable amount of time and saved MONEY!
