Took an extra day to get truck back as wrong part was sent.price quote was 838.00 said they would knock money off due to inconvenience charged me 836.00 when came to pick up. Confusing.

I live in Milwaukee now and always enjoy bringing my car in for service when im back home visiting my family. I brought my vehicle in to get an oil change and to get my rear tailight fixed. I told them that the socket was loose to the bulb and that is why it kept going out. The staff member assured me that they could take care of it and that they would look at it to make sure it was and if it was that they could replace it the same day because the piece is very inexpensive. When i came back they said they couldnt replace it because they couldnt get the piece that day. I was upset because i had the mindset that they had it on hand. I ended up getting charged for the labor of having them just look at it when i knew what was wrong already. I am more upset because they knew i was just visiting and from out of town and needed it taken care of right away. So now im out $50+ because i have to bring it to another place from where im from and have them look at it and get charge for labor &etc
Car was in for routine oil change & tire rotation. We experienced the usual good service.

Great service and friendly staff. Although I do not have all of my repairs done at Matthews (good friend is mechanic and works with me), I do appreciate always being informed of issues and recommendations. I enjoy being shown the issues in the shop so I have a better understanding.
