I realize that personnel changes in all businesses. But this time is the very first time that I have taken exception to the work. The people at the desk are exemplary. As is the fellow that drives the shuttle, he is a most welcome addition to the staff. However the fellow, Mike?, who runs the service part of the business needs work. Not only did he not have my vehicle ready when promised, but I was not notified of work being done to my vehicle. As it cost more than $100.00 I deem that a notifiable expense.

The old guy with the glasses at the counter is a total jerk and doesn't know the basic of sales. He is a very rude and cranky demeanor. He asks the same question of upgrading an oil change or pushing some extra service. I will never go there again if I can help it because of him. If I don't want my brake fluid flushed or fuel injection is my decision not his. The guys at the cashier needs to learn some sales skills.

Soon after the oil change my car behaved differently-loud noise and slow then i took back my car to the garage (Hogan and sons ) however one of the customer service agent in the front desk was not understanding but rude. I was realy shocked by his attitude. Instead of listening to my complaint with courtesy as a loyal customer he wants to remind me that my car is old and he is not willing to help. He should have told me before that you guys dont deal with a car over a certain mileage. However the service manager was helpful and polite. The service manager tried to see the problem but still couldn't find it then told me to bring it back the next day. The next day the service manager assigned a mechanic to see my car and we drove the car together and found out that it was a gear change. Who ever was changing the oil changed the gear from automatic to stickshift position and we could not get it back to its position before the oil change

Full front brake replacement
Out of state and had an issue with our calipers locking up on us. It ruined the rotors and pads. Also it fried the front right bearing. The guys at Hogans were very friendly and were able to get us right in on a Saturday. The services performed on our 2012 Mazda 5 were:New front rotors, new ceramic pads, rebuilt front calipers, bleed the break lines and replace fluid and replace the front right wheel bearing. Also we replaced the serpentine belt that was in rough shape. Total with tax was just under $1,800. I feel the price was a bit high, but we had to get it done to make it back to CT from VA. Normally I would shop around but didn't have the chance this time around. With all of this, I feel Hogans did a good job and I would recommend them. Knowing you will pay a premium going in to it, though they seem very trustworthy.
