Big Disappointment

Had 1 tire that would not pass safety inspection. Purchased all of the tires from Flynn ' s originally. Would not give us a break on the new replacement Goodrich Triple Tread tire. When similar events have happened in the past the Flynn ' s on Babcock has always taken care of us. In the past we have purchased all if our tires for our multiple vehicles from Flynn ' s on Babcock. Will NEVER go back to the store on Church road again. By the way just days before this event I purchased a set of 4 snow tires for my Acura at the same store for approximately $850.00.UNBELIEVABLE!

I cannot say enough good things about the gentlemen at Flynns Tire & Auto Service. They always do good work and give good advice. This time one of the valves was leaky and I brought the car back as soon as I could and they fixed it immediately. They are great and I will be back. Thank you

Unfortunately a bad experience

I want to start off by saying I have had service here before and they did a great job. Steve and Hunter are excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately this visit did not go well. I went in for oil change, tire rotation, and replacement of 2 fog light bulbs on my 2007 Toyota Tundra. They did get my vehicle in and quickly did the service. The fog lights worked great and that is the only job that was done correctly. The oil change was performed but the technician had oil all over the engine and the oil was dripping from the protective shield when I got home. I can understand a little oil spillage but this was ridiculous. The tech could have at least cleaned this up. The tire rotation was never done because the tires are marked by a number so I can keep track of the rotation. So I went back the next morning ( Saturday) since they were now closed on Friday night since the job was done at 5pm and spoke with Hunter regarding this and he spoke with the tech and the tech admitted he did not see the rotation on the work order and I was ok with this since at least he was honest. So they took it in the back and did the rotation and Hunter said the tech admitted he may have spilled some oil and they cleaned it up. Well next I took it for a ride and now the truck vibrates at approx. 50-55mph. Now these are new Michelin tires bought 5k miles ago and this was the first rotation. At the time of buying these tires, I also got a 4 wheel alignment that was recommended and a front brake job including new rotors and it rode great and I never had any problems. So I took it back and Hunter took it for a ride a agreed with the vibrating problem and took it back and rebalanced the tires and said they actually were balanced fine. He stated that he thought maybe the tire wasn't placed on the truck correctly ( something about not being centered correctly). He took it for another ride and said it should be fine and that he said there was still a small amount of vibration and he did inform me of a wheel bearing that will need to be replaced in time but for now it was ok. Well I drove it awhile later Saturday and it is still vibrating at certain speeds and it has no bearing when I apply the brakes. Now of course the shop is closed and I couldn't take it back again. So I am frustrated now especially since it drove so good prior to this. I can't help but to think something was done incorrectly during the rotation. Hunter said the tires looked fine. The oil on the engine compartment is still there also. It does not appear to be leaking underneath. Now I am taking it to a second shop to get a 2nd opinion on Monday because I feel that this was a poorly done job and I felt because they were busy Saturday, that they rushed to try to fix this to get other orders done. Hopefully someone will follow up on this. I would think that since Flynn's specializes in tires that they would have easily been able to handle the problem I am now having. I was treated well by Hunter and I thought he was trying but I would have liked this to be fixed on my 2nd visit and it wasn't. Sorry to give a poor review but now I have to try to fix a problem caused by this visit. I will chalk this up as just a rare occurence so I will still recommend them but now I will be hesitant.

Snow tires for Hyundai Sonata

Options were reviewed and Yokohama tires were chosen based on recommendation and current sale. Appointment was made as requested for following day. The work was done on time and as requested. All employees were knowledgable and courteous. I plan to use this location again.
