Inspection

Ive been going here for years and their work is good; no clanking or weird noises when I leave. However, I have been increasingly concerned they are selling me things I dont need, or dont need yet, based on my inspections. I just had to replace my wipers for my inspection, and they said it was for streaking. Id not had a problem, and havent even owned the car a year, so I asked to have them give me the wipers and leave the keys under the mat (after hours pick up). Well, I picked it up and looked at the wipers and as suspected, they looked fine. Last inspection with my old car it was replacing rotors and calipers. That time I said I just replaced the rotors a couple months ago. They told me the calipers gouged them up. Well then why not tell me to replace both the first time? So, these things have nicked away at my feelings about the place and Ive asked around for a recommendation for a new mechanic.
