No appointments?

I called to schedule an appointment to get my service to minimize my wait time, I was told an appointment was not needed and they can get me right in. I showed up and waited around for 45 minutes and my car was not pulled in so I called for a ride home. When my ride showed up my car had not been pulled in yet(an hour). Why not make appointments, that is the way to make customers happy. Very disappointed. I was there last month for the same service on another car and was there less than 45 minutes and I had an appointment.
