Have been a Dobbs customer since the old Belleville store on E. Main. Had rear brakes replaced about 3 months ago, had squeaking brakes for a few weeks, took it in, was told I need front brakes, job completed. When I left the parking lot the brakes still squeaked. My ride was already gone so I just left. Thought I would drive it for a while and see if it went away. Did not resolve and then disk brake light came on so I had to go back when the light came on. Squeak was from rear pads (replaced)and light was from damaged sensor wire. My point is that in the old days the shop would take the vehicle for a test drive after completing a job which would have saved me another 2 trips to the shop. I guess you don't have time to test drive after the work is done.

Favorite location

I live in O'Fallon, IL; however, I refuse to go to the Dobbs location at Swansea because the manager there is a crab. The workers are good - but the manager... Anyhow, the Fairview Heights, IL location is great. So I drive the extra miles - gladly. Good service and great people.

Second time around!

I was dissatisfied with my first Dobbs visit, however after three attempts, the store manager became involved and rectified the matter.

Oil change

They do a very good job and I just go in and they are able to take care of my car without a really long wait. Been going there for years.

My wife and I have been faithful customers with our vehicles since 2003. Service has always been top notch and the management and staff have always been courteous. Keep up the outstanding work.
